Dimorestudio reveals its latest retail project for St. Louis, a two-story showroom located in Via Gastone Pisoni 2, in the heart of Milan. Founded in 1586 and part of the Hermès group since 1995, St. Louis is devoted to the production of haute cristallerie, with the finest manufacturing of crystal-glass items, from tableware to decorative objects and lighting collections.
The project envisioned by Dimorestudio gives life to a sophisticated space, conceived to explore the elegance and tradition of the French maison through its stunning creations. An ambient inspired by Lara Favaretto’s masterpieces and Rudolf Stingel’s captivatingly realistic oil paintings, solidly connected to St. Louis rich heritage and the approach of contemporary artists, like Christopher Sturman, Marvin Leuvrey, Jean-Philippe Mesguen, Alexis Armanet and Delphine Chanet photographers, who embodied the alchemy of the brand within their photography, present within the space.
The refined and timeless atmosphere of the showroom is highlighted by a sense of fluidity that elegantly clashes with the rigor of the architectural shell and structures that outline its contours.
“Dimorestudio designed the Milanese showroom of St. Louis interpreting the brand’s core values of elegance and technique to embrace its crystal gems, without overpowering them: pieces with a significant heritage of design, materials and quality are suspended in the void and included into domestic settings that visitors can re-imagine in their special places.” Emiliano Salci and Britt Moran
